About the tool

LaTeX was originally written in 1984 by Leslie Lamport and has become the dominant method for using TeX. It supports many aspects of typesetting and desktop publishing, including page numbering, cross-referencing, tables, figures, page layout, and bibliographies.

This tool allows you to write LaTeX source code online and compile it to PDF. It uses the texlive.js library (a port of TeX Live to asm.js) to compile LaTeX documents to PDF in the browser.
