This is an online keyboard for typing International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) symbols. It can be used to write phonetic transcriptions in mobile and desktop browsers.
The layout is based on that of UCL's Unicode Phonetic Keyboard. The majority of the symbols can be typed by holding down the ⇧ Shift or ⌥ Option (or ⎇ Alt) key and pressing a letter key. For example, to type the ⟨ʒ⟩ symbol, hold down the ⇧ Shift key and press the letter Z.
The real/hardware IPA keyboard is something that I've been thinking about for a while. It would be a physical keyboard with the IPA symbols printed on the keycaps.
